Vulcano Solfatara

E' un oasi naturale, con una estensione di circa 33 ettari. Sorta circa 4000 anni fa, ha forma ellittica di 770x580m; è alta 98metri.
La visita guidata all'interno del vulcano Solfatara cattura ed entusiasma da sempre il turista, in quanto oltre all'affascinante contatto con un vulcano ancora in attività consente di apprendere nozioni di carattere geologico-scientifico e storico-naturalistico, e di assistere ad esperimenti che suscitano sgomento e meraviglia nel visitatore.
L'ultima eruzione risalirebbe al 1198.

Solfatara Volcano

It is a natural oasis which extends over 33 hectares. Formed approx 4000 years ago with an elliptical shape and a diameter of mt. 770x580, 98 metres in height. 
The guided visit inside the volcano Solfatara has always captured and enthusiast tourist, because other than fascinatiy contact with a still active volcano, it consents to learn knowledge of geological-scientific and historical-naturalistic kind, and to assist experiments that provoke dismay and wonder in the visitor.
The last eruption dates back to 1198.
